Sharmin Wengender is an RN, a yoga alliance RYT 200, Spirit Junkie certified life coach, a wife, and the mother of three daughters. Her experience in the healing arts enhances her ability to guide each student toward a healthier mind and body -learning through postures and lifestyle how to achieve a state of flow on and off the mat. Sharmin became passionate about yoga 19 years ago, and received her 200-hour teacher training in Hatha Yoga from Central Ma Yoga and Wellness in West Boylston, Ma. She teaches Vinyasa flow yoga and loves to explore how the dance between breath and body calms the mind while strengthening and toning the body.
Sharmin also enjoys teaching children how yoga can increase their confidence, body awareness, concentration, and focus, and how to relax and keep calm during stress and challenges. In November 2013 Sharmin was certified in Y4C (Yoga for Cancer) the methodology taught excusively by Tari Prinster who is a renowned and revered for her work as a yoga teacher for those surviving or living with cancer. Her training explored the science of cancer as it relates to the science of yoga and how to offer support and healing through caring and compassionate competency. Sharmin is so happy to pair her RN with this certification and offer FREE yoga classes to cancer survivors and those living with cancer and their families as cancer effects the whole family. Yoga has become a lifestyle for Sharmin, and she enjoys sharing this gift and witnessing how yoga can transform each student, inside and out.
She provides a safe, comfortable environment in which transformation is possible for everyone. In October 2014 Sharmin founded , studios. A space that she has continued to evolve as a center for mental, spiritual, personal and physical development. She offers workshops for self development and happiness/wellness coaching. Her workshops are changing lives for all ages. The workshop is for women to come together as a tribe in a group that is loving and supporting for true mental and spiritual growth. She also offers workshops for young girls and teens called where she works on self esteem, self love, body image and empowerment training as well as providing a safe environment to talk and work through emotions. Sharmin offers a similar group for young boys called .
Sharmin is widely effective as a motivational speaker working with schools, corporations, churches and small groups. Sharmin is also an author and she is currently working on her first book expected in the spring of 2016 about the importance of going , to find yourself again.
It is Sharmin’s gift to help others achieve an inspired, happy life by teaching them how to follow the path inward to their authentic self.. To choose love over fear and to allow this life to be in alignment with their purpose. She teaches that by taking the path inward to our true center…our , we discover that our own light is revealed and we can reboot, refresh our minds to illuminate what it is that we desire for ourselves in this life.
